Platinum Plumbers & Pipe Relining was engaged to undertake extensive drainage rehabilitation works at a major Bus Depot in Ryde, Sydney, addressing ageing and deteriorating sewer infrastructure across multiple areas of the facility.
The Challenge
CCTV inspections identified damaged drainage pipes, including a partially collapsed section, deteriorating pipe junctions and multiple branch connections requiring specialist attention.
With a complex network of internal and external drainage pipes, the challenge was to restore the structural integrity of the system while minimising excavation and disruption to the existing infrastructure at the busy Bus Depot.
Our Solution
Our team completed almost 70 metres of structural pipe relining across multiple sections of the drainage network, using the Brawoliner seamless structural epoxy pipe relining system.
The project involved:
- Structural pipe relining of 100mm and 150mm sewer and drainage pipes.
- High-pressure drain cleaning and CCTV inspections.
- Robotic grinding and repair of a partially collapsed pipe section.
- Robotic reinstatement of branch connections.
- Structural reinforcement of damaged pipe junctions.
- Final CCTV inspections to verify the completed rehabilitation works.
Using specialist trenchless pipe relining technology, we were able to rehabilitate the existing drainage infrastructure without the need for extensive excavation and pipe replacement.
